Here, you will be staying in a brand-new "apartment" in my farmhouse. (Nov 2025) A quiet area, just a stone's throw from Anders Zorn's birthplace, 2.5 km to the centre and the Vasa Race finish line. Walking distance to Åmåsäng's bathing area in Lake Siljan, 15-20 minutes by car to popular Tomteland and Gesundaberget. The apartment has a ground floor with a Ballingslöv kitchen, a large dining table, a sofa and a TV in the living room, a bathroom and a bedroom. The upper floor includes a sleeping loft. Bed linen and towels are always included when booking.

Cozy accommodation near the lake

Enjoy a peaceful and harmonious stay with family, friends or yourself in a beautiful setting next to Lake Siljan. Single-story cottage with open floor plan, Wi-Fi, air heat pump, dining area for up to six people, equipped kitchen, bathroom with toilet and shower, sleeping loft containing two beds (105x200 cm), bedroom with bed (160x200 cm), and sofa bed with room for two. On the terrace there is a dining area with barbecue, as well as a view of the lake. Next to the cottage, there is a scenic plot with proximity to paths along Lake Siljan.

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home on idyllic valley farm. Here you live 8 km from Leksand and 3.7 km from Borlänge and Falun. Only a 6-minute walk from Insjön train station. The house consists of a bedroom with a double bed + a sofa that can be used as a sleeping area (fridge and freezer is in this room). In the living room there are two single beds as well as dining table and a cozy fireplace. TV with Chromecast (aerial cable not included). The kitchenette is small but functional. Bed linen and towel for rent SEK 100/pp.

Large selection of sights and tourist attractions in the area. 7-minute drive to the station and 3-minute walk to the bus.

The proximity to Tällberg provides a wide range of restaurants, spa and cultural experiences as well as hiking trails, skiing and ice skating. The nearest swimming area is at Tällbergs Camping or at Laknäs Ångbåtsbrygga. In the nearby area, there are also several other well-known excursion destinations such as Dalhalla, Falu mine, Zorn farm, Vasaloppsmålet, Romme Alpin, Carl Larsson farm, Orsa Grönklitt, and more.

Stay at Yarden classic Dalagård

You don't share any spaces with other guests, but the entire place is yours. This classically built and historic Dalagård has an amazing location just outside Orsa overlooking Lake Orsa and an endless forest in the back. There is total silence here, but it is close to Orsa city center (2 km). Solar panels and geothermal heating make your home fairly carbon neutral. The location is perfect if you want to discover the amazing Siljan area with Zorngården in Mora, etc. Wood-burning sauna can be booked separately.

Bagarstugan, Stensgård in Vattnäs

Stensgard is located on the Vattnäs cape between Mora and Orsa, with views of the sunsets on the other side of Lake Orsa. Bagarstugan is a fully equipped guest house with 6 beds. On the ground floor, there is a hallway, a large living room, a kitchen and a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. Upstairs, there is a sleeping loft with a double bed (160 cm) and a single bed, as well as a separate bedroom with three single beds.  Bring your own sheets and towels. Duvets and pillows are provided.

Guest house of about 60 m2 with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Located about 5 km from central Mora. From here, it is easy to reach large parts of the northern and western valleys. The cottage is located about 300 meters from Lake Orsa. In the nearby area, there are several swimming areas, bike and walking trails. Welcome to our lovely guest house on the shores of Lake Siljan in Nusnäs. A cosy accommodation with many amenities, newly built since 2024. Here you live close to the tranquility of the forest, only 12 minutes from central Mora. The beach strip is easily accessible but public, there is no private jetty. The outdoor area/patio was completed in the summer of 2026.
