The cottage is spacious and well equipped which provides good opportunities for a fantastic holiday summer and winter. It has panorama mountain view and is right next to the national park and Galhøpiggen at 1000 meters above sea level. There are 3 bedrooms with high quality double beds and two single beds in the hall. Bathroom with shower and a room with bathtub. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious for those who love food. A newly renovated cabin at Reindalsetra, a 2 hrs walk into the mountains. The cabin was set up for fishing and hunting purposes like 80 years ago. Renovated in 2016, but the core parts of the cottage has kept its original style. The cabin should be perfect for a group or family – 3-7 people as a basecamp for mountain life and trips. Imagine waking up in a fairy tale in the midst of the world heritage, in a small wooden hut, a traditional cabin in Herdalssetra - a charming, living mountain farm. You can experience people and animals on the mountain farm, or put on your boots and backpack to explore unique paths with friends or family. When coming back you can sit in the heat from the wood stove, drink hot chocolate and read a good book in the silence of the evening.

Log cabin | Farmen Reinheimen

The log cabins at Farmen Reinheimen have a fantastic view of Breheimen National Park and Heggebottvatnet – where Reinheimen Lodge rents out a wood-fired hot tub and sauna with floating jetty, rowboat, canoe and electric bicycles. A short distance from Farmen Reinheimen is Geiranger, Gamle Strynefjellsveg and the tourist pearls Lom and Hjelle. A great starting point also for top tours to Galdhøpiggen and the rest of Norway's peaks.

Norwegian Wood - a mountain cabin!

A Norwegian authentic cabin in the Tafjord-Mountains. Situated on the mountainhill overlooking a beautiful lake. Private road to the cabin. Perfect base to explore these magnificant mountains, close to all the marked tracks. Electricity and cold water only. No shower or WC. An old and charming "utedo" outhouse serves as toilet.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. You can enjoy fantastic mountain hikes starting from the cabin. A boat can be borrowed free of charge. It is also an excellent base for trips to both Stryn and Geiranger/Trollstigen. Bed linen is not included in the price; it costs NOK 100 per bed.
