Lovely cottage from the 50s with nice vintage furniture inspired by the same decade. Is the last cottage on the way out on a headland in Vittsjö's lake area, so here you have the peace and quiet, but are still just a walk from shops and trains. The forest is close by and there are wonderful hiking areas. Good fishing just meters from the front door. Here you wake up overlooking a beautiful lake! Enjoy the starry sky and the owls hooting in the evening. From 1 November 2025, we will change one bedroom to a lounge and only take two guests.

Fresh cottage in forest environment a detour from E4

If you are looking for a fresh and comfortable accommodation with proximity to nature, the E4 and various leisure activities this is the cottage for you. In spring and summer half year there is access to barbecue, swings, slide, trampoline and grass areas. In the cottage there are most amenities such as fully equipped kitchen, large shower and toilet area, new 55" LED TV with large channel selection and Wifi. Things to do nearby: Moose safari, golf, mini golf, swimming areas, padel courts, ski slopes and Kungsbygg adventure park.

Palm House at Hjelmsjöborg

Nestled in a rhododendron in the north part of Hjelmsjöborg's park is this octagonal tower Palm House. This is a very unique building where you get a home like nothing else. Five meters in ceiling height, beautiful stuccos, brick paintings, a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom, spiral staircase, a paved patio with a Mediterranean feel and not even a stone's throw from the house is Hjelmsjöns nice tennis courts. In the winter months it can get a little cold, then you have to curl up on the couch and light a fire in the fireplace.

Several swimming and fishing lakes within 3 km from the house, besides lots of forest and wonderful nature. Alpine skiing 25 min away. Lake Åsljunga is 1 km away with a jump tower and sandy beach. Lovely nature all around.

The forrestplot of 2400m2 contains lots of blueberries, lingonberries and mushrooms for you to pick if you come in late summer or fall. Welcome to our cottage in the quiet area of Fasalt! The cottage is located just 30 minutes from the beautiful sea in Mellbystrand. If you need to shop, there are several grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants and shops only 10 minutes away in Örkelljunga. Pool is a few minutes walk away, and is open from mid-June until the end of August. The cost of using the electric car charger is added. SEK 2.5/kWh. Please let us know before if you want to use the charger.

Approx 30 min. drive to Vallåsens skiing resort on Hallandsåsen. A travell bed for babies is avalible.
