Cottage holiday rentals in Slovenia

We stayed in this house for 4 nights, very well stocked with all the essentials and even a little more. Very quiet surroundings where you can do physical activity such as running or biking, and even long walks. Breathtaking landscapes and above all very clean areas like all of Slovenia. We fell in love with this place and will definitely be here when we come back. Thanks to the hosts who have always been active and ready to respond under any circumstances. Highly recommended.

It was a wonderful holiday that we urgently needed. You can switch off and just enjoy. We were completely happy

The place was nice and clean, just a little smaller than the photos suggest. However, the house is well suited for 5 people. The hot tub and sauna were great and worked flawlessly too. The kitchen is very well equipped - however, there is no oven and for the capsules for the coffee maker, which are on site, you have to pay €1 each. The view was beautiful and we would come back anyway!

We stayed a week in October. Although the outside temperatures were already fresher, the pool was further heated at our request. A service that is not self-evident. When we didn't need the pool anymore, we also saved it for straw ourselves shut off. Matic was always available and always inquired. Recommended at any time.

It was such a beautiful setting to be among the vineyards and my son loved visiting the farms birds and jumping on the trampoline. The accommodations were beautiful and the hosts were so lovely very welcoming and gave excellent recommendations about the local sites. We had their wine and their farm fresh breakfast we highly recommend it ! We had a wonderful stay and hope to visit again one day.

An extremely good host. Upon arrival, we received a nice welcome and even received a gift. Flexible check-in was possible. Everything perfect.

The house is in a beautiful location, among the hills. The hosts live in another house on the farm, they were around if we needed something, but never intrusive. The farm is near the woods, the nearest big supermarket is about half an hour away. It wasn't a problem for us, the roads can be easily travelled by car, even in rain. We travelled with a 1-year old baby and we had everything we needed. Lots of toys for the children, cows, bunnies, cats and we especially loved the friendly dog, Lucky :) We had a wonderful time, Janja's family made us feel like home. She was incredibly nice and attentive, made it possible for us to really relax. Her hospitality was touching and the home-made groceries were extra delicious :) We hope we can return some day.

The listing is identical to the photos. The jacuzzi and sauna are a big plus. A vacation for the soul right next to the location that is in a very quiet place. The kitchen had everything we needed, and to mention the breakfast that's worth every penny. Stanka is a great hostess, she greeted us nicely, and directed us to some information related to the accommodation we should have been instructed to. Hoping to get back! 😊

This is a very cozy holiday home in a perfect location. We have stayed in lots of places perched in different European mountain ranges (Dolomites, Carinthian Alps, Picos de Europa, etc.) and the view from this house over the village and valley ranks among our favorites. The drive first from Kobarid into Drežnica and then from Drežnica up to the house is easy as well, and (apart from a very short segment right by the house) is all paved—in our experience it often takes driving some steep and harrowing backroads to get to a view this good, so it was quite convenient to be able to come and go so easily here (especially since you're close to so many great hikes and other destinations in every direction). Roman and Milena are generous and welcoming hosts who made us feel at home right away. Wifi was strong and consistent, allowing us to do a bit of remote work. The huge open fireplace is delightful. The kitchen is basic but very functional, and we did plenty of cooking. Perfect!

I would like to thank Mrs. Branka very much for the excellent service, her hospitality and very kind welcome. We had everything we needed. A very quiet place to rest, from where you can make many trips. We would love to come back sometime.

Lovely, peaceful setting with a view of the mountains and a convenient walking path to the village. You have ultimate privacy as the home is located at the very end of a gravel road through agricultural fields and small garden plots. House was very clean and everything worked just fine. Very convenient to the large market (groceries, general household needs...and gelato!). Two things to be aware of: There are three houses in the general area with the same address so be sure to put the entire address into your GPS. Also all sleeping areas are upstairs up a stepladder type of stairs. It's fine, but not the house for those with mobility issues. Nela is warm and welcoming and very helpful with tips to make your stay in Slovenia memorable!

Great house and host! The house is in a little village close to some nice sightseeing spots and hikes. Small supermarket on walking distance. House was clean and all amenities were present. I highly recommend!

Quiet place. Friendly hostess. Ideal accommodation. Surroundings suitable for sports. Close to the sea, Italy and Croatia.

Nice village house, clean and spacious. We were 4 adults and there was plenty of space. There was a big bathroom and a very nice and well-equipped kitchen. The location was great for day trips to Maribor, Ptuj and Celje. The keys were in a key box, so we didn't meet the host, messages were answered quickly, and everything went well.

We had the most wonderful time at Frances’. She was brilliant. Couldn’t have done more. Went shopping for us on Saturday as we were arriving on Sunday. We had fresh eggs from her chickens. The fire/heating was amazing. My children and I had the best time. She couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you so much. We hope to return.

Very nice cabin in a picturesque area. The view of the mountains is beautiful. My dogs felt right at home and loved being able to run around in the yard. There are hiking trails nearby as well. Ljubljana and Lake Bled were just short drives away. We were able to do lots of exploring! Rudi was very proactive and made sure we had everything we needed. Check in and out were easy. We would love to stay again!

Perfect place to stay while in Bohinj area. The host,Marina, is wonderful and ensured our stay was perfect in every way. She checked on us that we were comfortable and it was very easy to communicate with her. The home is neat ,clean and updated . We were a few minutes of walking distance from the bridge and river. She has bicycles available to explore the beautiful area. Plenty of good food to experience in the area. We really enjoyed our stay here

An absolutely cozy little dream cottage, with beautiful views, tranquility and everything you need. The highlight is the wood-burning stove, the view from the bed and the garden. Instant relaxation! The cats are sometimes a bit demanding and active, but if you have moved in with them, you don't want to miss them anymore 😍

Very nice treehouse on the edge of a small campsite in a very nice mountain region that was not crowded. Breakfast at the camp is an absolute dream and very cheap for €9 including coffee/tanja's tea. Around it there are many beautiful hikes and Tanja and her very nice daughter have taken great care of us! We would love to come back :)

Very nice accommodation with well equipped kitchen! Nice areas to hang out, especially basement and terrace. Beautiful view of the village and church. The only downside is the narrow and steep street to the village. Barbara is very responsive and kind. We had a wonderful stay here! Highly recommend.

Quiet and relaxing place, ideal for relaxing in a beautiful environment. Gregor is very responsive and kind, you can ask him for recommendations in the area, he is not stingy with good advice. Be careful when you come, the GPS goes through a bad road to reach the house, a sloping path with gravel (complicated by motorbike, especially in rainy weather). Don't hesitate to take it and go through the normal road instead.

We stayed for a week in Istok's beautiful house in Preddvor. It was perfect for the two uf us although the house can comfortably accommodate four people. The location is exceptional for the mountains and lakes aswell as Ljubljiana. Everything you need is in the house. A river runs through the garden which is ideal for barbeques and relaxing outside. If you fancy a swim there is a picturesque lake with a pizza restarant and a beach bar a short walk away. Iztok is a model for what a Air BNB host should be and a really lovely guy. Excellent communication, passion for his country and region and plenty of tips to get the most out of our stay, such as a fabulous easy hike up to the St Jacob's church nearby at 1000m height. He even arranged some delicious fresh caught trout for us. We cannot recommend this place and host enough!! Hopefully we will return one day to do some of the things we did not have time for during this trip.

Gaṣ̌per was an incredible host! He recommended local restaurants and stores and was always quick to answer us if we had a question. His cottage is so cozy and located in such a beautiful, peaceful area of Slovenia. We loved making a fire every night and watching the stars on the terrace. It was a good location as you can do day trips to Bled, Ljubljana, Postojna Jama. Our only regret is not staying longer as there are so many beautiful trails around the cottage we never got to explore. Highly recommend his place! 😊

We had a lovely stay ! The House is really great in the middle of a calm environment. Nusa is really friendly !! I truly recommend it if you want to stay in Slovenia.
