Each cottage has a built-in King bed with memory foam mattress, a kitchenette with a coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes, glasses, and cutlery, and even a small refrigerator. I designed this home to have 2 separate living spaces with private entrances on opposite sides of the house. The front is the vacation rental entrance accessing the entire first/lower level. My entrance is on the back side of the property. My family owns part of Lake Shore Island located on Guntersville Lake. There are 5 houses on our property scattered over 8 acres. My home and vacation rental is about 3 football fields from the shore, up the hill, providing beautiful views of the lake.

Clovers Cabin

Clover's cabin is a very cozy little place on Straight Mountain on a very curvy road. Update: We now have WIFI. Beautiful view in the winter, you can see for miles. Lots of tree coverage in the summer, which brings privacy. It sits about 200 feet from our home. A nice quiet place other than the animal noises. You can hike right out the back door. Please read entire guest manual under INFO FOR GUESTS, POST-BOOKING DETAILS. Give Code word to confirm it was read. Thank you

Hummingbird Hideaway: Cozy Cabin with a Big Porch

Drink your coffee on the wide wrap around porch and watch the hummingbirds fly by as you experience the southernmost part of the Appalachian mountain range. We are located on a sixteen acre campground and retreat center in the Locust Fork River Watershed, two miles from Mardis Mill Waterfall, four miles from King’s Bend Overlook park, and fifteen miles from Palisades Park. Our grounds include sandstone glades, a cleared meadow, and restoration forests.

The Hut at Brown's

The Hut is just under 400 square feet and designed for 2 guest with a front and back deck. Covered parking and a view of the lake. There is NO lake access but the view is great. The Hut sits on its own lot with a wide gravel circular drive and wood fencing for extra privacy. Located in a quiet neighborhood on a flat lot with big trees in the County not the city of Guntersville. launches close, 5 miles and downtown Guntersville is 10 miles.

The Cotton Pickin' Little Farmhouse

This little white farmhouse is full of country charm. Built in the 1920s and added onto numerous times, it was renovated for the final time in 2017. The house sits on the edge of our family farm beside a field. A barn/pond sit nearby. The house is 2br/2ba with a living room, kitchen with essentials, dining room and laundry. There's a porch & back deck with swing, charcoal grill & small fire pit (must bring charcoal, lighter fluid, wood, etc).
