Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique cabin, high up among the treetops. At a height of 7.5 metres above the ground, you are surrounded by forest, birdsong and a soothing calm – far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin offers a private, secluded accommodation where nature is always present. Via two stairs and a suspension bridge, you reach a private, smaller hut where there is a wood-fired bath. Here you can sink into the warm water, smell the scent of wood and gaze out over the forest – an experience that is equally magical all year round.

Beautiful nature regardless of the season and several lakes. Grocery store, restaurants and train and bus station are located in Vittsjö village. Guests have access to a rowboat, two kayaks and fishing from the jetty. Golf course, elk safari, waffle cottage and Skåneleden are located in the nearby area. Skånes Djurpark (animal park) is a 45-minute drive. There, Nordic animals such as wolves, bears, lynx and other Nordic species live in their natural environment. Relax in this small, unique and quiet home in the middle of the forest in Strandböke, Västra Torup -without neighbors. Here you come because you want to be close to nature and yourselves. Without electricity, you live freely and simply, in harmony with animals and nature. The brave are welcome up in the lookout tower that stands in the magical orchard! If you want to escape the community's stress and constant hunting for a while, this is the cabin for you. New for 2026 are an outdoor shower, a washing-up area and a new windscreen by the open fire.

Welcome to this cozy country idyll where you are surrounded by horse pastures. The calm. The silence. The beauty of the surrounding forests. Here you get close to both animals and fantastic nature. On the farm there are horses, cats, chickens and a small companion dog. Beyond the natural pastures are the wild animals. However, no bears or wolves :-) The luxury is in the environment. The small house is equipped for self-catering, but we offer breakfast basket and other supplies on request. Please let us know your wishes well in advance.

The wooden house

Träskhuset is an architect-designed house built in 2023. It is built of cross-glued wood and stands on posts in a swamp with the beech forest as the closest neighbor. In winter, you are surrounded by water, in summer, high vegetation. Here you live in a stylish house overlooking the forest. Design by Sorgenfri Build Concept. Free parking on a shared driveway. Electric vehicle charging available. The house is about 50 meters from our own house. Happy children's screams can therefore sometimes be heard nearby.

We have built the lodge with the purpose to have place that solitude with nature. Place to relax from the busy world and get into the rhythm of the wild. Wild life and nature in the area is mesmerising with no dangerous animals (no bears or wolves). Additionally, we have lovely sheep grassing in the field next to the cabin.
