Schomburgk Cottage- Gawler- private, cozy, unique.

This romantic place to stay offers a history all its own. Come and experience what is believed to be the barn which has been converted into a cozy and private space for two. We have tried to retain as many historic features of the cottage while making sure it is modern and comfortable. We still have a lot to do and will continuing works between guests. The cottage has a quirky attic bedroom accessed by a steep set of stairs. Very much like a tiny house. Please keep that in mind when booking.

Villa Vineyards Orange Door Studio

Our property sits in a beautiful open space, surrounded by paddocks and vineyards. Our boutique accommodation is at the rear of the house and is two separate studios. It has been converted from a stone barn and has the charm of age but with the comforts of modern life. Each studio contains a luxurious bedroom/living area and separate bathroom. Our property is also used as a wedding venue and the gardens are yours to enjoy. Our new cellar door is close by for you to sample some of our wine.

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.
