Situated in the shadow of the South Downs National Park on a small rural road with hardly any neighbours our charming cottage is a great place from which to explore the unspoiled open countryside and its many footpaths around us. The nearest street light is two miles away. Owls, deer and the occasional nightingale are the only sounds in the middle of the night The cottage décor is fresh and modern with plenty of parking and a small decking area. DOGS are only allowed if booked in, at a charge of £15 per stay. No cats.

Barcombe Mills is a picturesque East Sussex village known for the River Ouse and popular for wild swimming, paddle boarding, cycling and walking.

The bottom of the downs a five minute drive and a handful of pubs all within a 5mile radius. Plumpton station a 2 minute drive you can be in London within the hour.

We have a light and comfortable studio apartment with great views and amazing countryside walks just waiting for your arrival! Adjacent to the South Downs National park, with a pub/restaurant close by and easy access to Lewes and Brighton. Bear in mind we aren't served by good public transport. The 'Garden Studio' is good for couples, walkers, riders and cyclists. Set in glorious countryside with virtually no light pollution, come and enjoy the buzzards by day and the stars by night.

The toilet is in a converted horse trailer .new shower and toilet a short walk away. surrounded by farmland , sheep,chickens & horses . access to 80 acres of walks on our own farmland . Dogs must be kept on a lead .

Green Park Farm Barn

In the heart of Mid-Sussex, our former dairy farm dates back to the early 1800's. The barn has been recently restored to provide 1000 sq ft of luxurious accommodation with wonderful views across the wheat fields to the west. Guests can enjoy countless walking and cycling trails from the front door. Brighton, historic Lewes, Glyndebourne, Hickstead and the South Downs are all a stones throw away. Gatwick is less than 30 mins by car and London a further 45 by train.

The Bull Pen

Set in a peaceful farm location, The Bull Pen is on the edge of the wood, overlooking the pond. It is recently converted, upcycling wherever possible. The farm includes award-winning ancient woodland run as a nature reserve - great for a quiet weekend away, or a longer rural retreat. Highlights include butterflies, bluebells and nightingales in season. The village of Barcombe is within walking distance and Lewes and the South Downs are a short drive away.

The Coach House @ Hoods Croft is a new farm building conversion with two bedrooms - a double and a double / twin, each with en-suites, along with a bunk bedroom as well as an open plan living area with contemporary kitchen. Outside there is a lovely private courtyard designer garden, and direct access to Chailey Common for long walks. Underfloor heating throughout, a log burner and up to date TVs and WiFi means everything is set up for your luxury stay.
