“We had such a wonderful time at Victor and Dee's cottage. Couldn't recommend it highly enough! Victor was so helpful and lovely and gave us great local advice. The cottage is wonderful, very comfortable, spacious and has everything you would need. There were thoughtful touches around the cottage like fresh flowers in the bathroom and snacks for us to enjoy as well. What a gem of a place, we hope to be back sometime! Thank you very much for our stay!”
You’ll love my place because of the location; a short stroll to great, unspoilt beaches, Durras lake, local shop/takeaway (200m ) and resort restaurant/café/bar (400m). We back onto Murramarang National Park, which is a nature haven for bushwalking, kayaking, surfing, fishing and boating . My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Kangaroos and birdlife abound! We are a short stroll to Murramarang Resort, if you are attending a wedding or a function.
“Sean was a great host. We loved our stay there. We'll be back. Great location - walking distance to the beach and a local resort with many amenities. Not far from Batemans Bay, where we enjoyed some shopping and some great restaurants (if you like Italian, try Sams, for seafood, Starfish was good too). Mogo (not far, healing well after the bushfires) was another great place to go to (if Arts & Crafts is your thing). We enjoyed spending money there to help the locals. John & Linda from Cronulla.”
Private room in a 4 bedroom house equip with queen bed, tv, air conditioner and small fridge. It has its own private bathroom and toilet. Quiet neighborhood, 15 to 20 minutes walk to beautiful Long Beach, 8 kl or about 5 minutes drive to the center of Batemans Bay. Walking distance to Cullendulla Creek Reserve for those who loves bush walking and just minutes drive to the surrounding beaches.
“We stayed at Sam and Melanie’s over the 2020 Australia Day long weekend. They were wonderful hosts and we really enjoyed their home and hospitality. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and it is seperate from the remainder of the home so you can interact with the hosts as much or as little as you like. A nice touch we appreciated was the freshly cooked scones and tea on arrival. I would recommend Smiley House and we would certainly stay there again.”
