Learn to bake two classic Neapolitan pastries with the third-generation owner of Naples’ legendary Pasticceria Scaturchio, which has been open since 1903. • We’ll begin with an insider’s tour of the pastry shop, sharing stories about my family’s more than 120 years in business, before moving to the test kitchen to begin our hands-on class. • I’ll teach you step by step how to make sfogliatella, a pastry that has dozens of flaky layers and a creamy center, and Neapolitan-style babà, yeasted cakes soaked in a rum syrup. • After baking our pastries, we’ll sit down together in our boutique to taste what we’ve made over a glass of limoncello. I will teach you how to make many types of homemade pasta in a real kitchen workshop. We will make dough with egg, semolina and water and colored dough with vegetables. You will learn the cutting techniques and we will make sauces to accompany our pastas. At the end of the experience we will cook all the pasta and sauces made during the lesson and we will eat them with excellent wine and a selection of typical cold cuts and cheeses, artisanal and organic.

I will share with you the history of my family farmhouse, the information and little secrets behind each ingredient and dish. Discover the local traditional cousin of Agerola and the Amalfi Coast enjoying dishes made with organic ingredients produced in our farmhouse and two types of home-made organic wine: Aglianico and Catalanesco. You will also be able to visit our cellar were we keep the wine we produce and some other products produces in our farm. We do offer vegan and vegetarian alternatives. All the products come freshly from our land.
