'A day like a gift' is an experience-type accommodation located in the forest at the top of Domaryeong (700m above sea level) in Minjujisan, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. We have remodeled a wooden house (Dalbat House, 2005) and a family-built earthen house (So Young Hall, 2006) for our elderly parents, so that only one team of guests can stay in the entire house. Recently, a tree house (Wol Forest House, 2024) was built on a 6-7 meter-high Japanese cedar tree in the Wol Forest, and this can also be experienced for free. The experience is divided into traditional cultural experiences and ecological experiences, which are offered in a variety of paid and free experiences. The mud house was built with wood, earth, and stone from the moon field, like the mountain village of our ancestors. You can experience lighting a fire in a traditional house, where you can feel the wisdom of a house that is cool and warm. The words 'A day like a gift' are engraved in the merchant room of the mud house. We will try to give everyone who comes here a simple gift called 'a day like a gift'.

Traditional Hanok Dongchon House (1 team only/free breakfast/free parking)

Dongchonjae is a traditional hanok located in Seochon Village, very close to Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace, the center of Seoul. The accommodation consists of Anchae, Sarangchae, and Annex Room. Dongchonjae, built in 1939, It has been officially certified as a traditional hanok by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Tourism Organization. Dongchonjae is a retired couple who opened their home. It has been in operation since October 2020. Guests have 4 rooms, a living room (Daecheongmaru), a kitchen, 1 internal shower room and 1 external shower room, You can use spaces such as the numaru and the yard. Our accommodation is located in the center of Gyeongju, in the center of Hwangnidan-gil, which is crowded with tourists all year round, and is in front of the Science and Invention Center and behind Hwangnamgwan.The building is about 45 pyeong and the land is about 100 pyeong. All bedding is always freshly replaced, and as it was my grandfather’s home, it’s lovingly maintained and kept clean. Unlike a typical Hanok village, this home is in a local Gyeongju neighborhood. Stay in a real Hanok and experience the authentic charm of Gyeongju! It will surely be a special experience. I can confidently say it will be special.
