The cottage is beautifully situated on Norrbacken next to the forest. Within a three-kilometer radius, there are swimming beaches, hiking and biking trails and the "meteorite crater" Söderfjärden where thousands of cranes stop over in the spring and autumn. Norrbacken is an idyllic hill with small farms, forest paths and little traffic. Our accommodation is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families. We welcome guests from all over the world and can communicate in English if needed.

The beautiful log house is located in Ähtäri, surrounded by Lake Vähä Haapajärvi. Vesamaa offers a cozy setting for a relaxing holiday. The 100-year-old house has been renovated with respect for the history of the house. The nearby nature offers many recreational opportunities: yard games, fishing, berry picking, swimming, jogging, hunting, mushroom picking.... There is a new river sauna on the beachfront. Peaceful location in the Lower River heritage landscape.

Villa Vindala

Welcome to Villa Vindala! A rustic, romantic house with a beautiful courtyard and a peaceful location near the centre of Vimpeli. Dairy cattle were kept on the farm for 11 generations, but operations ceased in 2015. The house was renovated between 2023 and 2025. The spaces are spacious and atmospheric, and decorated in warm tones. There is space for 6 people. Linen fee 10 euros per person, agree on it separately with the host.

My great grandfather built both the guesthouse and the main building in the 1920's.
