Holiday rentals with breakfast in Southend-on-Sea

The place was incredible. So beautifully decorated and everything we could want plus so much more was supplied. Beautiful homemade cakes and snacks and croissants for breakfast. It surpassed all our expectations. Especially loved the movement sensors which helped navigate to the loo in the night!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful character property. Alison and her partner were very friendly and helpful with local recommendations for where to eat, walking trails, etc. They had even provided breakfast supplies - bread, yummy marmalade (I think it was home made!), juice, milk, tea coffee, and even hot cross buns as it was Easter, which was a nice surprise! The property is very centrally located in town center, a couple of minutes walk to the train station and a number of pubs, bars, coffee shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

Had to ask someone where wiggly path was, but as soon as pointed out it was obvious.

Emily's "Little House" was exactly as described. We found it quirky and comfortable and a good base for reaching locations such as Canterbury, Whitstable and Chatham Dockyards. There was fresh milk for our arrival plus a selection of condiments, biscuits, coffee, jams etc. which was a nice touch - thank you! Communication with Emily was excellent.

We enjoyed our second stay at Helens apartment, fantastic property very well equipped with everything you need and more , very good location and Helen is a very responsive , friendly and helpful host. Thank you

Great place, easy access, clean and comfortable

Debi's place was exactly as laid out in the particulars. It was clean and comfortable, and there were plentiful instructions to tell us how everything worked. Debi had left breakfast for us, which we had not expected and was very welcome. There were also facilities for our dog - bed, bowls, poo bags etc, which again we had not expected.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property was clean and had everything we needed. The instructions were clear and easy to follow which made our stay stress free! Would love to stay again

We stayed two nights in this beautiful Georgian garden flat and felt very at home. Antony is super friendly and sent a detailed welcome pack ahead of time including tips for things to see and food recommendations. The kitchen was well equipped (we like to cook for ourselves) and generously provided lots of bits and bobs including milk (soya as well as regular), bread and juice. The garden front and back is very pretty and lovely to sit out in. The wifi was powerful enough to watch shows on our phones, although it was nice to read/play games and not just sit in front of a screen. Absolutely recommend staying here if you want to explore Sheppey (particularly if you want to visit Elmley reserve but stay somewhere homely and cheaper!).

Bertie and staff were great. We had a fantastic time and the full breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed a pint in the bar attached to the apartment and the atmosphere was right up our alley. If we're ever back in Southend on Sea we be contacting Bertie first.

Alex was lovely from the very beginning, so helpful! The apartment is one if the best we've stayed in, beautiful, amazing location right on the front, and everything was completely spotless! Such s perfect stay thank you so much Alex.

Wonderful little B&B situated on the island, Victoria was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was particularly delicious (with plenty of options) and watching the ducks and chickens roaming the garden provided great entertainment! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Margaret was a super host responsive friendly and welcoming. even more than. I had expected with some lovely little extras in the room on arrival. highly recommended. will be back very soon.

Lesley's home was very conveniently located near where our business meetings are as well as all the shops and restaurants that we needed on the 5 days we spent in Chelmsford. Her home is pristine and the room where we stayed is very restful. Lesley is a brilliant host, getting out of her way to provide us with one of the best service we've had in an AirBNB stay and we have been in quite a few. Exceptional hosts, wonderful, cozy, clean, and peaceful place, great countryside walks on your doorstep and restaurants and shops in walking distance. Accommodation was spacious and we had everything we could think of, even though the shower room is quite small, it serves its purpose well. Elaine couldn’t do more for us and we really enjoyed our stay with her and Teg. The breakfast really is out of this world and the attention to detail in everything Elaine does is something to be experienced. Hopefully will come back! Many thanks for everything Elaine and Teg.

a really lovely place to stay with an especially friendly and interesting host- Sonja. Everything looked lovely and loved having own bathroom. Offered me tea and chat and recommended good pub for dinner. Comfy bed. alVery good breakfast with fresh fruit salad and warm croissant. Very good shower. No complaints at all and wd come back. Gorgeous garden.Very sweet village. Thank you ! xx

great place to stay,clean,tidy,host always friendly

A wonderful cottage in a great location surrounded by good pubs and eating places. Easy to find with good parking facilities. The cottage is fabulous much better than we could ever have imagined, peaceful and relaxing with fantastic views. The owner has considered all your needs to ensure a perfect stay. The breakfast food was terrific much more than expected. We were disappointed that we only booked 5 nights, next time we will certainly stay longer.

Pippa was warm and friendly, a lovely interesting lady. Everything was pristine and very tastefully decorated . The gorgeous little touches made Pippas place, a warm and welcoming home from home. Loved the decor and artistic flare of this gorgeous house. Breakfast was made to order freshly cooked and delicious.
