Parking and charging station in front of the door. In the area, you can enjoy cycling and sailing towards Overijssel and Friesland. Restaurants and a well-stocked Spar are within cycling distance.

We would like to welcome you to our sustainable and non-smoking bed and breakfast on the water! Apartment Grutto is located on the 1st floor and can accommodate up to 4 people, with living room/kitchen with sofa bed, separate bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with every comfort. There is sufficient parking space. Furthermore, we are easily accessible with public transportation (5 minutes walk). There is also a sandy beach on Lake Tjeukemeer within 5-minute walking distance.

Surrounded by nature, it is ideal for hiking and cycling enthusiasts.Blokzijl is 10 minutes by bike and the Weerribben in our "backyard". Giethoorn, Steenwijk are nearby. Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. In a very convenient location compared to the beautiful forests of the Oranjewoud and the center of Heerenveen, this cute holiday home with its own sun terrace and unobstructed views of the garden is located. This former garage has recently been completely transformed into a comfortable and cozy studio. You can enjoy cycling and walking nearby and the Frisian lake area is a 20 minute drive from here. Furthermore, the center of Heerenveen offers plenty of cozy terraces and bars.

Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace by the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

In de winter zit je heerlijk knus binnen bij de houtkachel die de ruimte binnen no-time verwarmd. De tinyhouse is compact maar van alle gemakken voorzien!

'Ons Stulpje' is a complete, separate appartment with a comfortable kingsize boxspring bed, rain shower and complete kitchen. The jacuzzi can be booked separately (€30 per 2 h timeslot). The (shared) pool can be used in Summer. The airbnb is situated in the quiet countryside town Blankenham, close to tourist attractions like Giethoorn, Blokzijl, Steenwijk and National Park Weerribben-Wieden and Pantropica, Urk, and UNESCO Schokland.

In this region you can make beautiful hiking/biking/MTB trips to the Weerribben and Giethoorn but also to the Drents Friese Woud, Heerenveen Oranjewoud. Ice skating in Thialf. Rent a boat and/or go to De Lemmer to the beach. From Sonnega, all this is fine. We are open to tips.
