This home was originally designed by John Wangenstein in 1860 as the water pump house for the City of Duluth but was abandoned. Miss Elisabeth Congdon converted the pumphouse into an absolutely stunning French-style home. We are located right on Mesabi Bike Trail, 17 minutes from Giant's Ridge; 35 min. from Ely and the north shore.
