Holiday rentals with a kayak in St. Martin Parish

The house and property were gorgeous and perfect for our needs as a family traveling together. We loved eating breakfast on the patio overlooking the beautiful pond and enjoyed evenings by the fire pit. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. Everyone kept saying that if we are ever back in the area, it would be a great place to stay again.

Loved this place and so happy we found this. The pool and outside shower were amazing. Most of all Linni and Trent were very helpful with giving us suggestions on where to go tour. They made sure we were comfortable and made sure we had plenty for breakfast and snacks.

This home was everything we hoped for and more. Extremely clean, very comfortable and homey - lots of books, which were super fun to peruse. Fresh flowers on the table and a personal note greeted us when we arrived. Communication with hosts was clear and easy. Well hope to stay here again next time we're in the area!

We had a delightful stay. The weather was great and the surrounding area offered many different things to do. The apartment fit four adults and two dogs very well. The outdoor area was large and we spent most of our time out there. The beds were so comfortable as were the linens. A+ all the way around!

Wow, what an awesome hidden gem 💎!! We had the best time and everything was precisely as described!! Patti is an excellent host and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable!! Our daughter and her friends had a wonderful time kayaking down Petite Anse and sunbathing on the deck overlooking the bayou!! I had the best time fishing and soaking up all the scenery of the wildlife and landscape…. My husband said “he was in the clouds” whilst he slept in the very comfy bed downstairs!! Pristinely clean and very well stocked with all amenities!! All the sweet lil extras was a welcome treat!! TY Will definitely be back!! 💯 🙏🙌💖🎣🥂

We had a great time. The place was well-located on a quiet road, within a 10-15 minute drive to downtown New Iberia and just a bit farther to Avery Island. The house was well-equipped and very comfortable.

Our last minute trip decision turned into an awesome weekend at the Arlington guest house and grounds! The area was beautiful with different aspects of nature, and the views on the bayou were serene. They have kayaks to use which allow you to really explore things you would not typically see. The house itself was well furnished and taken care of. Also, the host was communicative when booking. And Tandra and John (some managers of the property) were extremely nice and responsive. We had a small issue with the hot water, but Tandra and John came to fix it in 10 minutes. We definitely recommend a stay here in the future if/when it is available. I believe it is a wedding/event space that keeps it frequently booked. Enjoy!

We had a great time! It was a perfect bayou scenery and getaway! We brought our canoe (even though they have kayaks as well). We saw alligators and many birds! They had everything we needed plus more! I loved our little welcome treats. It was such a thoughtful touch!
