Juliabuda is located in Haugsbygda on Gurskøya. Juliabuda was built in the 1860s and we can offer an evocative stay in this authentic sea scene where there has been both herring salting, post office and shop. Sjøbuda has a jetty with the opportunity to go boating or enjoy the view of the fjord and the islands in the strait. The area has many beautiful excursion spots, both by the fjord and in the mountains at 600-700 metres above sea level, with both easy and more difficult terrain. With three bedrooms (sleeps 7), two small but functional bathrooms, one inviting living room , fully equipped kitchen, and a laundry room we hope you will feel at home. Our house is located 6 km from Måløy, 15 km from Kråkenes lighthouse, 4 km from Refviksanden and 16 km from Kannesteinen. It is 150 meters to the grocery store. Otherwise, the area offers weather and wind and nice hiking terrain. Bed linen and towels included.

Great place to vacation both in glorious summer weather and in autumn storms. A stone's throw to the shore and small boat harbor, and a few minutes walk to Hakallegarden visitor farm (check websites), and the beach Sandviksanden. The Hakalle staircase is located right above the cabin, and gives amazing views of the sea and the nearest islands. Perfect starting point for day trips to Vestkapp, Runde, Geiranger, Loen, Ålesund, etc... Approximately 300 meters to the grocery store with everything you need. Electric car charging available in town.

We live in the countryside, our village is called Hjartåbygda, 10 min by car from Volda city center. There is no public transport, so you should have your own car. Nice hiking area right outside the door, marked trails. Otherwise quiet and peaceful. Right by the lake, and by car it is not far to many of Sunnmøre's beautiful mountains.
