Cottontail Cottage sits in a spectacular village location on the southern end of the Lake District with easy access to the rest of the Lakes. With great walks and cycling on your doorstep. A lovingly restored one bedroom cosy cottage with lots of traditional charm.
“This was a last minute decision to come to the Lakes. We have never stayed in Staveley although we had visited before, the cottage is ideally placed and great transport links to the South Lakes, the train and bus a short walk away. The cottage itself is bigger than we first thought, as there were extra bedrooms. The place was very clean and warm and had everything we needed for our short stay, everything worked so we never had to disturb our host. Would recommend.”
Hideaway Cottage is a perfect cosy retreat for two and provides a very high standard of pet friendly holiday accommodation in the Lake District National Park. Lovingly restored and furnished, this delightful cottage sits in the centre of the bustling Lakeland village of Staveley in the South East corner of the National Park.
“The cottage is perfect for a couple wanting to tour the south lakes. It is spotlessly clean and has all you need. The local pub is also friendly and has good food.”
Smithy Cottage makes up the first floor of the converted smithy in the heart of the village of Staveley. When you climb the external stone staircase and open the front door you will find a perfectly formed cosy cottage conveniently laid out on one floor. It’s full of history and character, with beamed lounge and wooden floors. It is the perfect place to relax with family and friends after a busy day exploring the Lake District. Just 4 miles from Windermere. Bus route 555 stops very near.
“A cosy little cottage, top floor of the maisonette. Lovely and warm feel to the place. Plenty of advice within the guide book for the surrounding area. Easy access on arrival and fast response from the host. Value for money, we would definitely stay there again.”
