Rosie's Studio is a very special place decorated with original paintings by the late Salt Spring Island artist - Rosemaria Behncke. This large, unique cottage/studio is situated on a 25 acre farm in the peaceful south end of beautiful Saltspring Island, close to parks, beaches, Fulford Shops and the Ferry Terminal. Our home is bright, disinfected and spacious. Our 2 house cats (Sonic and Boom) agree too. (See note: Linus) The view amazes even us! (Yes, that is Mount Baker between the two large trees.) No one's complained about our huge and comfortable deck, fully stocked kitchen, quiet location and fun hot tub yet! Yippee! You will "OWN" the whole main floor and outside level. LINUS: We have a Great Pyrenees dog next door. He is put inside at night but his woof might wake you in the am.

Wake up, enjoy your coffee on one of the two porches overlooking the sunrise or the evergreens. I’ll provide coffee, creamer and a few breakfast items to tide you over.

The cottage is approximately 2km from Beaver Pt Hall, 5km from Ruckle Provincial Park, 10 minutes to Fulford Harbour, and 20 minutes to Ganges. We are within walking distance to several beach accesses, Canada Conservancy forest, and a beautiful First Nations Reserve. The beaches are launch points for nearby Russell and Portland Islands in the Gulf Island National Marine Parks.
