Elgol self catering, Isle of Skye

Comfortable, self contained, private accommodation, attached to a family home in the popular village of Elgol. View of mountains and sea from bedroom. Great base from which to explore Loch Coruisk, the Cuillins or Small Isles via boat trips. Good for birdwatching, wildlife or the Skye trail. Elgol harbour is a short walk down the hill. There is a kitchenette with fridge freezer, hotplate,microwave, toaster and kettle (no oven) in the accommodation. T.V only has Net-flix and DVDs, wi-fi is good.

Truly fabulous views of the Cuillins and Islands!

'Grandview' is a beautiful, traditional, yet spacious cottage with everything you need for a very memorable holiday. The views are outstanding of the Cuillins, Rhum and Canna. There are 3 comfortable double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 spacious lounge areas, allowing you to spread-out and relax independently! The stove provides a glorious heat, although the cottage also has full electric heating. There are many local walks/climbs and also the famous boat-trips into Coruisk and the Cuillin hills.

On the Skye Trail, Shepherd's hut with magnificent views of the Cuillins, and the island of Rum. Nearby boat trips take you to the islands of Rum, Canna and Loch Coruisk. There is a local pod at the pier and café at village hall serving coffees, cakes etc. seafood sandwiches and ice-cream, weather permitting. The Elgol Bistro sells takeaway food, and is a licensed restaurant. Supermarkets, petrol, diesel and numerous restaurants are in nearby Broadford (15 miles)
