Very well equipped & an ideal base for rest & activities. Just a few mins walk to Castle Menzies, the Ailean Chraggan bar restaurant, fantastic walks, River Tay, forest tracks etc. 2 min drive/easy 20 min walk to Aberfeldy for shops, fuel, cafes, food. 5-star, helpful (but v unobtrusive) host!

A great escape for 1-3 people, especially for outdoor activities or simply relaxing at the fire pit with a glass of red wine. Lucy, our akita collie cross, welcomes all friendly dogs FOC. There is a wood-burning stove, double futon sofa/bed and day bed - all bedding provided, and a small kitchen area. There is a private shower room 10 metres away, with dishwasher.

'The Howff' is a refurbished farm worker's bothy in a rural location with lots of walks and access to beautiful parts of Perthshire. One hour's drive from Edinburgh, 20 mins Dundee or Perth. This authentic bothy contains one room with single bed, wood burning stove, mini kitchen unit with fridge, oven, portable hob and kettle, separate shower room, wc, basin. Linen and towels included. Although small, The Howff is warm and cosy and makes a perfect retreat. Please note for ONE only.
