This place is a paradise. Adelene is by far the best host we have come across. We felt right at home. The place is located on a very serene and peaceful lake. The owner has decorated this place extremely wonderfully well. We had an amazing time. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway. A+++++

Me and the lady just needed a quiet getaway weekend for the two of us and the hound. Beautiful little place, perfect for what we needed. Would highly recommend to someone who needs to just recharge. They were very professional and very outgoing. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our stay at Thorne Haven was exactly what we hoped it would be and then some. The kitchen had everything we needed (even some things we didn't know we needed...impromptu white gravy with the planned breakfast sausage) and the dining room fit us all (with an amazing view)! The guest rooms were comfortable and private, we had lots of "together" space and plenty of opportunity to step away as well. The activities were endless with something for everyone: the game room(s), the movie and/or reading options, board games, the hot tub, the lower deck, large yard for football/Frisbee/tag and the pond! But I think one of our favorite things was being able to have a fire in the main fireplace every day...so cozy and welcoming (suggest bringing a little of your own wood if you keep it going like we did)! Our family had the ideal get away: from the grandparents right down to the grandchildren & grand dogs! Thorne Haven is truly like a home away from home feeling and we will definitely go back.

This house was clean, easy to locate, and the scenery is beautiful. This house was very pet friendly. My 2 dogs had wonderful walks. I will recommend staying at this location to anyone that appreciates the finer things in life.

My girlfriend and I had such a wonderful stay at Maureen's place in Laporte! The space was incredibly generous for just the two of us, and despite Maureen living on the property, we felt we had complete privacy while still knowing she was there if we needed anything. The highlight of the house was definitely the enormous, well-equipped kitchen - perfect for cooking meals together after a day of exploring. Speaking of exploring, Maureen was an excellent resource for local activities and attractions, pointing us towards some great experiences in the area. What really made our evenings special was the game room downstairs. After spending our days out adventuring, it was the perfect spot to unwind and have some fun together. Maureen struck the perfect balance as a host - available and helpful while ensuring we felt like we had our own space. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Laporte!

This was my second time renting this cabin awesome location , clean, neat and very well decorated plus it’s close to Ricketts Glenn !

This is a hidden gem in Eagles Mere. Close enough to walk into town but also very private and quiet. The property has a welcoming and charming cottage atmosphere. I enjoy cooking and found everything I needed in the kitchen. As a couple who loves visiting in Eagles Mere, we will be back!

The stay was perfect. Everything was as described and what we needed. I even left some items behind we forgot to clear out of the refrigerator and Mark was pleasant and took care of it. Will be back when in the area.

This place was great! Being right on the lake was amazing. I could watch the sun rise over the mountain from the dock, or right from the sofa in the front room. Looking forward to staying here in the warmer months to take advantage of the natural surroundings.

Stayed here for 2 nights. I walked into a nice greeting. The place is beautiful and the hosts were very accommodating and responsive. I had a few time issues with check-in and check-out and they very gracefully helped me extend and sort that out. It's a nice quiet area, great for keeping your mind clear or concentration for any studying. They did really well with the guide helping me know what was in the area. Very friendly people, I would book here again!

I would definitely recommend Leenie & David's place. They were lovely hosts, very helpful & a pleasure to talk with. Their place was just as described. It was charming & cozy. Their store which was attached was very nice with unique & beautiful home decor items. I enjoyed everything about my stay. If you're visiting the you must stay at their place.

Adam’s place was clean. It was great for an overnight stay. He was very quick to respond to my questions.

cozy, spotless apartment. Nice location, very homey. very comfortable. There is a lot of truck traffic as the apartment sits right at an intersection, but didn't bother us at all. after a short while, you don't even hear it. our host provided snacks and toiletries as well. The bed was comfortable and hot water was plenty. We would absolutely stay here again.

Comfortable unit with everything we needed. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants. Would definitely stay here again
