Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Sumatra

From the time I first got in touch with May and being assisted by Mariani, the stay was simply awesome. My mom who is 75 was worried that the say wouldn't be as good as being at home but she was proven wrong with all the elderly friendly setup and the ease of having kids around. All in May and her lovely home was well thought out to cater for all walks of life. Kudos!

Foi muito bom os 7 dias que passei com a Família Kwalitas. Buscava uma experiência local, e foi exatamente oque recebi, acomodação limpa, e aconchegante, 100 metros da melhor onda de Nias, a comida da Mama foi a melhor que comi durante toda temporada na Indonésia, e o pai sempre prestativo, no primeiro dia me levou pra conhecer o pico de surf, e o melhor lugar por onde acessar, foi comprar água pra mim, e até me emprestou sua moto 2 vezes que precisei. Já estou com saudades dessa família que me recebeu como se eu fosse um filho! Sempre com sorriso no rosto, e dispostos a ajudar. Ano que vem, estarei de volta! 🫶🏽

Jaycee's place is a lovely home overlooking a beautiful valley. The room was very clean. Jaycee was very helpful with information, suggestions, and local tours. The home cooked breakfast was incredible and a lovely start to the day.

Homely and nostalgic vibes that exactly what I was looking for. Super friendly family and chillax doggie Mantou. Loved the fresh crisp bed sheets and towels and homemade soap. Home cook breakfast awaiting for us in the morning, and free flow of coffee tea and produces from their organic gardens 24/7. Ample private carpark space for drivers. Highly recommend for family looking to experience slow live, kampung vibes and connect with the wild.

Look no further... Everything was perfect for our party of 10! We had the whole apartment, including the 2 fabulous hosts, exclusively to ourselves. Pity it was too short a stay. The 4 bathrooms meant that we need not queue to use in the morning and end of day. Enjoyed Cameron Highlands thoroughly thanks to Jaycee's tips!

La casa di Jaycee è molto carina e accogliente. Gli spazi comuni sono piacevoli e la camera è spaziosa e con una bellissima vista sulle colline di Cameron Highlands. Il bagno in camera è ok. Andrebbe leggermente migliorata la pulizia, ma per il resto ci si sente molto a casa! La casa è a qualche minuto dal centro di Tanah Rata, la posizione è super piacevole perché tranquilla e immersa in un contesto residenziale. Jaycee è molto disponibile e gentile, piena di consigli per i suoi ospiti. Se volete fare un’escursione consigliamo caldamente quella di mezza giornata (piantagioni di tè e Mossy Forest), il resto non vale veramente la pena.

Un grand merci à Zayid et sa famille pour leur accueil très chaleureux. Nous avons pu partager un merveilleux dîner avec eux, et discuter pendant des heures ! C’est exactement ce que nous recherchons lorsque nous logeons chez l’habitant. Nous avons en + bénéficié d’une chambre + spacieuse que celle prévue, avec une salle de bain privative (au lieu de partagée). Merci pour tout !

Love that the host is so kind, warm and friendly. The place was cozy too. Breakfast such as tea and crackers are provided as well. I loved reading a good book at the balcony at night because it was cold and airy. Would totally recommend

Vielen Dank Ipah, Fahrol und Staff für die wunderschöne, entspannte Zeit auf Simeulue. Wir haben uns direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt. Ipah hat jede Menge Tipps für Ausflüge und war immer für uns da. Ob indonesisch oder westliche Küche, es war immer ein Fest. Surfen in leeren Line-Ups mit Fahrol war jedesmal weltklasse. Das Haus liegt direkt am Strand in Alus, zu den nächsten Surfspots sind es keine 5 Minuten. Abends ein Lagerfeuer am Strand unter Palmen und den Sternen. Was will man mehr? Arnaz and Saliza are quite the perfect dictionary's definition of the term "hospitable". From answering my tedious and relentless questions for weeks on end prior to and after making my booking, to being extremely accommodating by offering me alternative choices when the initial ones are no longer available, their patience already gained plenty of respect and trust from me. When my check-in time became severely delayed due to issues with my mode of transport, Arnaz, Saliza and their father, Yusoff, contacted me out of concern - through the middle of the night - even though they could have easily just brushed it off as an incident of normal delays. Upon arrival, I realised just how special of a home this was, even to patrons. Uncle Yusoff, Aunt Naz and the whole extended family indeed does treat everyone like their own, as per the reviews you see from all the others. Airbnb does not require hosts to prepare meals for their guests but nonetheless, Aunt Naz made breakfast every single morning through my 3 days of stay. Not only that, she is extremely mindful of their guests dietary habits and will accommodate her cooking to suit their needs, and I definitely encourage future guests to give her omelettes a go! On the final night of my stay, the aforementioned extended family gathered with an Australian couple who was also staying over at the same time as I was and prepared a wonderful feast for all of us. Arnaz and Saliza even went so far as to entertain us with several songs during our dinner, before sitting down and speaking about our lives prior to our final night of sleep there. Indeed, the entire family is really friendly and seeks common topics to interact about with their guests, but at the same time, they do understand and respect the importance of their guests' privacy when the time calls for it. This possibly boils down to the plentiful life experiences that everyone within the family has undergone, and they have my absolute utmost respect for it. To be entirely honest, I was rather sceptical of all the perfect 5-star reviews when checking out the booking as I found it rather unbelievable for all guests to be satisfied. Nonetheless, having experienced it for myself, I now completely understand the circumstances as to how they have garnered such praise from all guests. This is something that I kept mentioning to Arnaz myself throughout my stay, but he is adamant that everyone is merely exaggerating. (Newsflash: We aren't!) Even upon arrival at home, Uncle Yusoff dropped me a final text to ensure that I was safe before giving me his well wishes. With the above said and done, there is nothing much else I have to add except for a massive thank you to the whole family for such an amazingly pleasant experience.
