Beautiful limestone house on southern Gotland

Fride is a typical Gotland farm from the 18th century. The house is carefully renovated with many charming details such as a tiled stove or fireplace in all rooms, two lovely bathrooms with bath and shower. In the kitchen, there is a dining area, next to the dining/living room and TV room in connection. The garden is large with old apple trees and chestnuts, large terrace with dining table and barbecue, playhouse, trampoline. The garden consists of several "rooms," breakfast, evening drink and sunbathing area can be in different locations. A stone wall surrounds the yard.

Findarve-längan

The Findarve meadow is on our farm in one of Gotland's finest parts. The house has all the amenities needed for a successful holiday. Beautiful view of meadows. The farm is only 7 minutes by car from Hemse where you will find all amenities. From the house it is about 7 minutes to Ronehamn (nearest swimming area) by car and about 20 minutes by bicycle. If you want to go over to the other side of the island and swim, you will find Nisseviken about 20 minutes away. There are several nice swimming areas nearby and we usually go after the swimming temperature.

Converted and newly renovated limestone smithy located at the small parish road in Grötlingbo neighbor with the medieval Museigården Kattlunds. The house is part of our farmhouse where you have two separate secluded patios. Downstairs has a living room with limestone flooring with underfloor heating and large fireplace. A smaller kitchen area that is fully equipped as well as a bedroom with two beds in the bunk bed. The upper floor has a double bed with the possibility of extra bed. Newly built bathroom in extension with separate entrance.

Pastoral Places

Farm grand piano with lamb and meat animals (cows with calf). The farm is coastal, in the middle of lush meadows and pastures with about 1.5 - 2 km walking distance to the sea. The accommodation is perfect for families with children and also great for birdwatchers as the farm is close to some of Gotland's best bird spaces. Guest will be responsible for linen and towels. The guest cleans and leaves in the same condition as it arrived. Bicycles are available in the yard to borrow. Kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated in 2022.

Small cosy, newly renovated and well-planned apartment in an attractive location near Burgsvik harbor. Walking distance to swimming from beach or jetty, sunsets, Burgsvik sea sauna, restaurants such as Guldkaggen and Grå Gåsen. Private patio with limestone from the island and a large communal pool and lush garden. The pool is open in summer and may be used from the age of 2. The apartment comprise 1 rok with sleeping alcove with a comfortable double bed. In addition, there is a good sofa bed with a mattress topper for two people.

Old brewhouse converted into a convenient practical home for 2 people. South facing patio with stunning views and barbecue. 9000 sq. ft. fenced plot. Forest walks around the corner, 5 km to the swimming lake and 7 km to Ljugarns long beaches, shops and restaurant life. Modern fully equipped kitchen. Shower with floor heating, hot water for 2p (normal use). Double bed 180 cm + 70 cm wide extra bed. Final cleaning is included. Sheets & towels are not included, can be rented. The fireplace in the picture isn't working.

Limestone wing among roses and jasmine

The "Annex" is a charming accommodation on two floors that has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. From the living room you step directly out into the lush garden with roses, jasmine, lavender, etc. Breakfast in the green with birds chirping, barbecue evenings at sunset or just sit under the large chestnut with a great book. If there is a rain shower, there is a "greenhouse" roof to be found underneath. Or why not play boules on the track that's there? Attracts swimming, so it's close to a string of sandy beaches.

Cabin on southern Gotland

A modern cabin that sleeps 6 in beautiful cultural landscape surrounded by meadows and oak forests. The house has many terraces so just choose the one that fits. The evening sun is wonderful! The house has all the amenities you need, such as a dishwasher and washing machine, barbecue and stable Wi-Fi. You clean yourself after your stay and you must bring your own bed linen and towels. Duvets and pillows are available. Southern Gotland offers magical environments with sandy beaches, raukar and a rich cultural life.

Charming limestone cottage with stunning sea view. Skoge is a small sheep farm on the southern tip of Gotland. We offer accommodation with all modern amenities in a picturesque and tranquil farm environment. The 18th century cottage has stunning views of the coastline, the moorland and the lighthouse. It is located 2 kilometres from the sea and 15 kilometres from the nearest village. It is a paradise for outdoor activities such as hiking, bicycling, kayaking, birdwatching and beach life.

Studio house by the sea

The house, called "The Ateljéhuset", is 300 meters from the sea with a ten kilometer long sandy beach in one direction and one of Gotland´s best fishing spots for trout along the cliffs in the other directon. From the bedroom, the dining area and the terrace you can look stright across the Baltic Sea and always hear the waves. The house adjoins to Danbo Nature Reserve. It is a paradise for hikers where you can enjoy untouched nature, yet there are really good restaurants nearby.

Petsarves farmhouse

Relax in this peaceful, simple and affordable farmhouse with 5 beds. Here you can avoid WiFi and maybe have a lovely family vacation without screen time. The cottage is under renovation but is no problem to stay in as it is right now. Electricity is available, small kitchenette with stove, refrigerator. Dishes are washed outside the door. Toilet with composting indoors. Water is available in the courtyard. We wash ourselves as the Gotlanders do in the summer in the sea.
