An eldorado for top hiking enthusiasts with nearby peaks over 1000 meters above sea level, such as Trolltind and Åbittinden, but also great for hiking in the terrain, summer and winter. Sunndalsfjella, Trollheimen, Innerdalen, Vinnutrappa, Prestaksla, Aursjøvegen and Eikesdalen are just a short drive away.

How about enjoying the fjord view from the rocks or from a comfortable outdoor sofa under the roof with freshly brewed coffee? Or swimming and lazy days on the rocks? Hiking possibilities in the area are almost endless. Rental of rowing boat is agreed at least 1 week BEFORE check-in, for boat experts (summer only). Two rooms with double bed, as well as rooms with bunk beds, loft, alcove, baby bed.

Cozy Apartment on Jenstad

Jenstad is the starting point for trips to Åmotan where 4 rivers meet with 3 amazing waterfalls. You live 5-10 minutes walk from the canyon where the water is thrown down and ends in a shower where the rainbow shows up in sunny days. You live on the farm Jenstad with historic buildings from the 1700s where the story can be read in every log both inside and out. Please note that the room height inside the apartment is about 195 cm with a carrying kites that are about 170 cm between hallway and living room.

Koselig stabbur i to etasjer. To 150cm senger og en 120cm seng. Et soverom i 1. etasje, og kombinert soverom/stue i 2. etasje. Et lite kjøkken og toalett med egen inngang i våningshuset ca 10 meter unna. Gratis wifi og tv med Chromecast. Fint uteområde med veranda og bålpanne. Ångardsvatnet ca 150 meter unna, perfekt for bading, fiske, båt osv. Stabburet er et utmerket utgangspunkt for turer i Trollheimen, sommer og vinter. Oppkjørte langrennsløyper ca 50 meter fra døra.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING! Here you can live peacefully, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Cottage from 1899, which we have spent over 4 years to get back the good old atmosphere. The fireplace is not ready for use yet. Wood-burning stove is just to use👍 Firewood must be arranged by the tenant. Outdoor shoes are NOT to be used inside. Bed linen and towels are not provided, but can be rented at 150kr per guest. This has to be agreed upon in beforehand.

It is 7 km to the nearest town centre, where you will find several shops, a swimming pool, a library and a cinema.

Welcome to Rødsethytta, the perfect starting point for trips to Innerdalen and Sunndalsfjella. The cabin is located in quiet surroundings on Ålvundeid, in the middle between Sunndalsfjorden and Ålvundfjorden. With a view of Innerdalen and in the immediate vicinity of the trail to Flånebba, this is the perfect place for those who love hiking and nature, or just a holiday in quiet surroundings.

Sit back and relax in this charming cottage by the Todalsfjord in Surnadal. The cottage is an excellent starting point for, among other things, hiking in Trollheimen and top randonee hikes. Boat rental (summer season): marina with fishing loop area about 500 meters from the cabin. Here you can rent various boats with engines from 20 - 80 hp.
