The living room terrace was large, the visibility was open, and the greenery of the trees was beautiful. We had a relaxing time listening to the birds singing. The owner was friendly and kind, and the distance was pleasant. There was also complimentary coffee and tea, making it feel like a home away from home.

March New Opening!Deluxe Western Room Twin Suite "Breakfast Included". Perfect jumping off point for sightseeing in Hakone. . Pure Sulphur Hot Springs

Tomoko & the team did a wonderful job welcoming us our room was wonderfully spacious and filled with charm, the property was well maintained and in a seemingly very isolated location but yet a bus stop is less than 5 mins walk the on site Onsens are a true highlight the water was very highly mineraled more so than some of the public Onsens and really made for a special way to unwind. furthermore the breakfast was a real treat and a great introduction to Japanese cuisine as a breakfast it was varied & Quite sufficiently filling before heading off on our day! If we are to return to Hakone in the future we for sure will be back.

Shizu Numazu Homestay - Japanese-style room on the second floor

NathalieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The host is nice, you have to use the translator but it's good. She picked me up from the train station and drove me back, she has kind attention. The house is quiet, it is on the side of the road you can hear the cars but that doesn't stop you from sleeping. The room is clear , the futon is a little thin for my 63-year-old back. If the weather is nice, you can see Mount Fuji from the room. I rested well. Thank you.

203 western style two bed room, natural scene

We loved our stay here thanks to our host who made everything much simpler. A big thank you! She picked us up from the bus station (from Tokyo, take the bus to Skinjuku live to Asahigaoka - duration 3h max). She graciously took us to see the Sunrise (5h) of Mount Fuji from the lake and lent us bikes for the day. And finally, she took us by car to the Fujisanyamanakako stop in order to continue our journey to Kyoto (first a bus to Mishima, then the train to Kyoto). The bedding was very comfortable (no blackout curtain), the heater worked well, we had hot showers (we have to warn before)! A flawless one. The only thing we didn't like was the dishes that are offered for delivery (very expensive and really not good - for Europeans). Would recommend this place to admire this beautiful mountain

The room was exactly the same as could be seen in the pictures. We absolutely loved the whole atmosphere of the room. It was super clean, the view of Fuji was stunning. Oh, and the onsen! Perfect relax after a day of hiking. No complaints, no cons… Ashinoko, thank you!

Thank you to my invisible craftsman host!Small but well-equipped and attentive: reading desk lamps, large leather sofa seats and cushions, and induction hobs.In particular, the host has a lot of compliments with a bicycle in good condition, so I can shop and eat in Numazu City and go to the station is very convenient, and there is a feeling of staying at home on the street by bicycle.Overall, this is a great value for money to go shopping in Gotemba, go to Hakone bubble soup, see Mt. Fuji from afar, and go to Izu Peninsula.

Sauna/Open-air bath/Newly built "Fuji Sauna Club"/Outlet, just around the corner from Speedway

和朋Rating, 5 stars1 week ago
It was Golden Week, so the price was a little high, but the quality of the sauna and water bath was quite high, and I felt that it was reasonable considering that it was reasonable. I have rented a few cottages with a sauna until now, but the sauna here was the best. It was nice to be able to set the temperature to the right temperature when the temperature went up quite a bit in the morning and the timer function. Overall, it was a very good accommodation, so I would like to stay again. Thanks again.
