Nestled in the picturesque Dorset countryside, this charming Portland stone cottage offers a quintessential English retreat. Set within the grounds of a historic Old Rectory, the property is surrounded by rolling hills, lush meadows, and the tranquil River Frome, providing an idyllic spot for a holiday. It is all on one level,we are able to rent out the whole cottage also which creates an additional 2 bedrooms for extended family - we rarely rent this out to another party and is mostly empty.

We welcome you to stay at our home and in the beautiful surroundings of West Dorset. We offer a lovely one bedroom (double bed) self catering annexe which has all the comforts that you'll need! It is well equipped and has fresh towels, bed linen, tea towels and everyday essentials. Relax and enjoy beautiful Cattistock. We have a beautiful village with a historic pub the Fox and Hounds and a village shop. August 26 update. We cannot offer the BBQ and fire pit until we are out of the heat wave

Guests have a private garden, and access to a tennis court.

It is very individual and situated in a quiet , rural setting. It has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The village of Martinstown has an excellent pub and shop. Farm Cottage is a beautifully renovated cottage within a converted dairy farm, Duntish Mill Farm. The farm is located in a stunning part Dorset's AONB. Surrounded by plenty of gorgeous countryside walks, village pubs, historic towns and the Jurassic Coast only a short drive away, there will be plenty to do for anyone to enjoy on a relaxing countryside escape There is off road parking along with EV Charging. Private courtyard and open plan kitchen, living and dining area.

The Hideaway

Cozy and stylish suite. You have a private entrance and staircase, cloakroom, living area, bedroom, en suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, fridge, free WiFi, Smart TV, and Bose soundbar. Although there is no kitchen, you have a microwave and there are 3 village pubs that all offer delicious home cooked food. There is also a fabulous well stocked village shop. We have 2 friendly cats but they can easily be kept out of the space if required.
