Sunnmørsalpene is known for its fantastic hiking area in summer and winter.

The cabin is located on Fjellsætra in the beautiful Sunnmørsalpane. Here you have many nice hiking experiences in summer and winter. There is a short distance to the water with access to a rowboat. In winter, the ski slopes are right outside the door, and there is a short driving distance to the alpine resorts Sunnmørsalpene and Strandafjellet. The cabin is spacious and has everything you need to enjoy nice days in the mountains all year round. If you want excursions, there is a short drive to Ålesund, Geiranger, Slogen and other popular destinations.

Here you get close to nature with a short distance to both ski lifts, top tours and cross-country ski trails in winter, and mountain tours and swimming/fishing in summer. The cabin can also be a base for exploring the region, with a short distance to the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund, beautiful Geiranger or the bird mountain on Runde. Quiet, peaceful, with stunning views of fjords and mountains, less than 10 m from the waterfront. 70 m2 plus large room at the jetty level. Unique design, large window surfaces, and rooms on multiple levels. One bedroom with a double bed, and a large sofa bed in the loft/TV room. Tiled bathroom by bedroom. The lower floor with double gate, view of the fjord, and with its own toilet/laundry room and fridge/freezer.

Cabin at Fjellsetra, Sykkylven

Spacious cabin with great views and hiking terrain right outside the door. The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski in/ski out) and nice prepared cross-country trails and floodlit trails are just nearby. The area also has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice mountain trips in summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy a fishing license).

The Alpine resort Sunnmørsalpane and Strandafjellet skiresort is a short drive from the cabin. And the cross-country skiing trails is just outside the doorstep. The cabin was built in 2020, modern but cosy. Relax inside or out on the terrace, after a day of activity or just to unwind in beautiful Norwegian scenery.

Nice patio outside, right by ski slopes in winter, very short distance to alpine facilities, and otherwise very nice hiking areas in both summer and winter. When there is snow, the road down to the cabin is not cleared. Then parking is at Nysetervegen and about 100 meters and walk down to the cabin
