For a quiet get-away from the stress of this busy life, come visit Core Homestead. A sweet home west of the village of Folsom LA. It is Just a few minutes from Global Wildlife Center, one of the largest totally free- roaming reserves of its kind in the country. On eight partially wooded acres, the home was built in the early 1970's on land that was part of a Spanish land grant to the Core family in the early 1800's. The lodge is on the property beside the main house facing an one acre horse paddock and overlooking a 3 acre pond, dock and gazebo. We are horse friendly. We are only 45 miles from Downtown New Orleans. l
