“I had the lodge planned for an overnight stay for my boyfriends birthday back in April but due to COVID this was deferred, Naomi was great throughout and very accommodating with new dates. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome by Mark who promptly shown us to the lodge. The lodge was as expected, stunning in a picturesque setting overlooking the lake, beautifully decorated inside with some really nice homely touches - the scones, fresh eggs and bread were a lovely touch too. The whole lodge was comfortable and warm, the bathroom was modern with a very good powerful shower. Overall the stay and the grounds were fantastic and we could have easily stayed longer submerged in the peaceful woodlands, great hosts, definitely recommend and hope to visit again soon xx”

“We spent five nights at The Stables Cottage and really enjoyed our stay. Our four year old loved the swimming pool, and it was great to have designated private times to use it. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we also appreciated having a private garden. We fished at Arden Lakes and picnicked at The Farm, from which we shopped nearly everyday...very convenient. We drove into Stratford Upon Avon everyday, and the cottage is very conveniently located. Our favourite place was the Butterfly Farm, which we visited twice. Wendy was very helpful and responsive, providing detailed information to help us with our visit to the area as well as special touches like children's books, DVDs, a bottle of Prosecco, and fresh strawberries. She also was quick to help us when we ran into some trouble with the wifi. We would highly recommend The Stables Cottage and look forward to returning ourselves soon. Thank you, Wendy!”

“Hi Paul's place was amazing. Beautiful house with so much space. It was very close to the train station so was handy for us travelling into Birmingham. It has lots of useful facilities and equipment and so we were able to cook a three course meal easily. Paul was away so his son Matthew came to check on us and he was very friendly and helpful. We didn't use any of the local facilities but we could see that there were lots of information at hand. Would definitely recommend to others.”
