The Old Schoolhouse is a beautifully renovated house which was originally the local national school built in 1887. All rooms in the house have breath taking views of the Shannon estuary. The house has wooden floors and ceilings throughout and a balcony where guests can sit and have breakfast overlooking the river. It was fully refurbished in the last couple of years & is furnished in a very atmospheric, fresh & light manner. Wander along The Kerry Way - one of Ireland’s longest & most famous walking trail, hike Ireland's highest mountain Carrauntoohil. Its unique very remote location is a perfect spot to watch the clouds pass overhead & the sheep “baa” in the field.

Located on the Wild Atlantic Way, it is a wonderful base to return to after a day out exploring all that Kerry has to offer.
