Please note that the accommodation lacks high voltage and a shower, but is located by a spring lake with clean and fresh water that is well suited for washing and hygiene. The cottage is only powered by 12-volt electricity for simpler lighting, which means limited electrical capacity. However, it is possible to charge mobile phones via sockets. The cottage is a log cabin originating from Dalarna, located in the forest and with several swimming-friendly lakes with sandy beach only 7 and 10 minutes away by car. Child-friendly, quiet and private, trampoline on the grounds and great opportunities for both nature experiences, recreation in solitude if you want or training.

Small cottage in the countryside

A small cozy cottage in the countryside, in the summer surrounded by fields, cows, vegetable land and wheat fields. In winter, you have a beautiful view of the landscape. In the cottage, there is a wood stove and wood is included, the kitchen is built in place and there is also a newly built bathroom. Here, you can relax, study for the next exam, or drink tea in front of the fireplace. In the area, there are plenty of small farm shops that are easiest to get to by car. 500 meters to the bus stop and 1 km to the grocery store.

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Herbre in natural farm environment

The cottage (‘härbre’ in Swedish) is one of several small outbuildings in a picturesque setting. The building is from the 19th century. The lower floor has been carefully renovated using traditional building preservation methods. There is a kitchenette with cold water, a fridge and a hob. The outdoor toilet is just a few steps away. The shower is in the main building. The forest is just around the corner with good opportunities for shorter or longer walks. Free parking.

Your own cabin by the lake

Relax in this unique and tranquil home right on the lake. Here you come to enjoy nature and take it easy. Enjoy a morning or evening swim from your own dock and take a ride on the lake or take a walk in the woods right outside the door. Close by you will find the outdoor area Fjällnora and if you want to get into town, it is about 20 minutes into Sweden's fourth largest city where you will find all the selection of restaurants and shopping you can imagine.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunrise is an extra plus. Please also refer to my guidebook that is in my profile. The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away. 2-4 kicks are available to borrow.

Cottage of 50 m2 with private parking and large grass areas. Located close to Östa with mile-long scenic sand beaches. Tärnsjö in Heby municipality is the nearest town with business and more. Nice trails and paths along the ridge that invites biking and hiking, especially out on the East Peninsula.
