I really enjoyed this apartment! Mohammed picked us up from a local meeting point and took us in a 10-15 minute walk into the heart of Fes where cars are inaccessible. He pointed out currency exchange locations and stores that sold the most affordable and best items as we made our way to the apartment. Upon arrival, we were treated to traditional tea and biscuits and asked for additional information by the host so he could submit it to the local police station. The apartment was clean and traditionally decorated with lots of appliances. The location was amazing as it was near all the major shops and places for sightseeing. The only downside was that Mohammed didn’t respond to my messages for the day that I stayed at his location. I wanted to be reminded of where the currency exchange and leather shops were but he was offline till the next day (definitely could’ve been busy which made responding difficult). Overall, definitely worth it to visit and would love to come again!

I had a great stay at Leila's place! She was such a kind and welcoming host, always making sure everything was perfect. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The service was excellent, and I felt right at home. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back in the future!

We were satisfied with this apartment. The value for money was excellent. The location was ideal, close to the airport, which helped us with our early flight at 6am. Communication with the host was clear and check-in went smoothly. We would certainly recommend this apartment.

The stay in Fez has been unforgettable and in large part because of the kindness of the host of Splendid Riad Jaoid and his collaborator, Youssef. The two make your stay in the city and the home in the Riad easy, comfortable, quiet and safe Overall, we've had an unforgettable experience. We were passionate about Fez and feeling accompanied at all times by Youssef made us much more treacherous. Highly recommend the exquissit breakfast prepared by him. A marvella of Moroccan flavors. Delicious.

If you’re not Moroccan, or have not spent much time in the country, be ready for a unique experience. It’s as riad as it gets with all its quirkiness - but all to yourself. It was an authentic experience for the two of us in our party. If getting lost in the alleys of fez intimidates you, this may not be the place for you. Jawad, the caretaker, is exceptionally attentive and helpful. Always ready not just with recommendations but also to walk you out if you need directions. Kitchen has all the appliances, wifi is surprisingly strong, hot water is aplenty. Bathroom situation is unique. The one full western-style bathroom is four flights up so beware of that. (There is a squatty potty on the ground level.) The rooftop terrace has nice open views.

We went to Lydia's Riad for 3 nights. Prior to our stay, Lydia has always been responsive to our requests so that we can prepare our stay in the best conditions. Abdellatif and Aisha welcomed us very warmly. The Riad is majestic and blown away as soon as we arrived. We took an excursion thanks to Abdellatif who was great (2 hours with a driver overlooking the medina!) They also found us a taxi to get to the airport in the middle of the night. A big thank you to you 3 and very nice continuation 😊

Super well located, clean and big

We very much enjoyed our time in Fez and at Mohammed`s place. It is a beautiful traditional old house, with well preserved interior. Right in the middle of the old city. Ideal for our group of 6 visiting the city for several days. It is quite a challenge to find your way through narrow streets, but Mohammed was kind enough and arranged the transport from the train station and a guide for last 10 minutes of the journey, through the maze of the small streets. Mohammed and his sister were very helpful. Greeted us on our arrival and helped to make our time in Fez enjoyable - helping with tips for the places to see, arranging a certified (and knowledgable) guide, sharing the history of the city ... .

Great host! He responded immediately and even gave some recommendations for restaurants and helped us with the rideshare. It’s also in a great location under ten minutes to the market where all the main restaurants and shops are.

A very responsive host. The property is managed by a lovely couple who stay there too. They were there when we needed them and never invaded our privacy. The place was exactly as described.

Me and my 3 sisters had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Riad. Clare sent us all the information we needed prior to arrival which was very helpful. When we checked in, we were wowed. The property was so much nicer than the photos! The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the rooftop was a lovely place for breakfast and reading. But the true highlight was the house manager Zahrae whose kindness, generosity and help made our stay so special. Selma and Hasna's cooking was also incredible. The two dinners we had at the Riad were our favourite meals in Fes. Overall we had such a wonderful stay. The Riad is very well located, safe, cosy, clean and is managed by wonderful women. I hope to stay again one day.

Mr. Hicham has been incredibly helpful during my stay. Additionally, I want to thank Mr. Khalil for his fantastic help in getting access to the house. The house itself was stunning, and it was in a prime location near the ancient city. The property overall was warm and inviting, and the beds were especially comfy. I had a great time here and would definitely return.

Lubna was an amazing host who put a great deal of care into both the place and her guests' comfort. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very quiet. It truly felt like a home away from home. If you ever need accommodation in Fes and find her place available, don't hesitate to book it. You won't be disappointed.

The apartment is super clean and very well-equipped. Very responsive , attentive and attentive host. The location is also optimal , all the tourist attractions that Chefchaouen offers are within walking distance .

A great place to stay, not so far from city center.

A great, quirky property very near the medina. Great value; basic, but functional and works well. A great host, who hopped in our car and helped us park right nearby, which is very necessary in this hectic town! Recommended
