Smoking friendly holiday rentals in The Gambia

Adi's place was really nice and in a secured area. A little out of town but not too far from the main areas. The check-in was easy and seamless. He was also able to accommodate our late checkout. He also gave us an amazing taxi guy who was our guide throughout our stay. We really did have a good time. Note that the kitchen is shared and is outside of the rooms but it was not a big deal. Everyone in the building was helpful. Thank you Adi!

We spent our holiday with our 3 kids for the 2nd time in The White House and it was as amazing as the first time. The villa is very spacious, with a lot of light, a great pool that is being well taken care of, and fantastic staff. Fatou cooked us a great local meal and provided us with anything we needed. Esa drove us around and showed us nice bars where they played the jembe, and Ousman joined us when we went to a local Reggae Party. We also enjoyed the massage of Lamen (which is really something you should experience there). After nice mornings runs in the fabulous nature, we had fresh fruits from the market for breakfast and went to visit the neighborhood. We made friends with local people from the fisherman's village and they took us out to fish on their boat. The little short walks to the beach where you can enjoy a local coffee, fruit juice or cocktail were our daily habit. Yes, we will return again. Because of all of the above. And because of the good price-quality!

I would definitely recommend staying here. I had a great stay, with a helpful and hoslitable host. Central location, but quiet at night. Everything you need is in the Apartment. Great place for travelers who want to visit The Gambia!

Great stay that's a 15 minute walk from the beautiful, peaceful beaches of Tujereng! The guesthouse also has a bar/restaurant so you can have any/all your meals and drinks here which makes it very convenient. Mariama had some great suggestions for me on things to do as well, which was much appreciated. Thank you!

Imagine, if you will, traveling to a foreign country during a pandemic, arriving at the black of night, hassled by shady immigration officers, and having no local money. Absolute nightmare, but then swoops in the angels of mercy-Lorraine and Roy! They arranged for their driver to collect us from the airport, AND paid for our visa and airport security fee. We did reimburse them. (Note: Bring only British pounds or Gambian dalasi! No cards or USD accepted.) When we arrived at their place, Lorraine brought us food so we wouldn’t starve in the night. Then the next morning, she and Roy both greeted us with big smiles and friendly advice. The place is a dream!!! There is a lovely petite kitchen with all one needs for simple meals, a tiled shower with plenty of hot water, and two clean bedrooms with comfortable beds. The outside space is an oasis. They have created a slice of paradise complete with a large clean swimming pool, lounge areas, an honor bar, and a thatched roof gazebo. Lorraine and Roy are a wealth of information, and they are quite the adventurers. Ask Roy to tell you about their adventures of crossing the desert—before the days of mobile phones, GPS, or roads. Put it this way—you’d be a fool to stay anywhere else!

Wow! Such a beautiful home and setting- smart, clean, spacious. Communicating with Amelia prior to our arrival was easy and she was very accomodating. Buba and Ansum were excellent host support; Buba picked us up from the airport to take us to the house and was also helpful in getting us around and about whilst there, and Ansum, who lives on the site grounds was available 24/7 to asssist with any house queries. We felt super safe and secure at the property with both Buba and Ansum being extremely trustworthy and reilable. My family and I would have no hesitation in coming back to stay there and reccommend it as a perfect family holiday house where you will instantly feel at home. Thank you to all.

It has been my 4th visit in the blue house. And i have enjoyed my stay there again. Its a quite place near the Airport . Very comfortable. I'm sure that i will come back.

Wer Urlaub auf einem Bauernhof machen möchte, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Der Manager und seine Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit und zeigen einem stolz die moderne Agrikulturtechnik. Wenn man den hektischen Hochburgen der Touristenzone entfliehen möchte, kann man sich dort gut erholen.

This place is really a very nice place to stay while you visit Gambia, you really get the privacy they promise, a local Gambia family lives at the condo whom are responsible for the security and gardening. Another Gambia guy will pick you at the airport, and he will arrange anything you need, and is also a perfect guide when you want to do a trip. The condo is in Bijilo area, not far from the beach, but a 10 minutes walk is slightly underestimated in my opinion, but the beach itself is very nice, if you want to go the beach once. The Senegambia strip is only a few minutes by taxi. The garden is in good condition, with a swimming pool which is very big and cool and maintained everyday and you don't need to share it with other people. Sunbeds and umbrella's are available, although due to the moving sun we needed to move the sunbeds very often to get into shade, which is no-one to blame I think. The appartement were clean and decently equipped with a bathroom, with toilet, hot water shower and a sink.The bedrooms have enough storage a good bed and air conditioning. The Kitchen is very well equipped, it has everything you need, we even tried the bbq. We didn't meet the host Annie in person since she does not live in the Gambia, but I liked all contact I have had with Annie she provided us with a lot of information in advance, and I felt that she really wanted us to have a pleasant stay and instructed the local team to make that happen, I know she checked with them everyday if we we doing well. I really do recommend this place, I have had a much better experience than staying in a hotel/resort.
