Great guide center and hiking trails to waterfalls. The Franklin Canyon falls when it has just snowed or rained the day before is the best. The small museum at the visitors center is worth stopping at to learn about the local area, and they have some good activities for kids.

Lots of great places to go in the Organ Mountains. We love the Pine Tree Trail at Aguirre Springs, the Dinosaur Tracks in the Robledo Mountains, the rock shelters in the Pena Blancas, and Geronimo's cave in the Robledo mountains. Ask us for more information.

The Organ Mountains are a steep, angular mountain range with rocky spires that jut majestically above the Chihuahuan Desert floor to an elevation of 9,000 feet.
