True Berkeley classy take-out; amazing sushi (Kirala II); Soup (Soop), and local organic gelato (Lush) plus a vegan place. Garden in back with nice Chinese food

There are only a handful of restaurants here in this gourmet food court, but that doesn’t make the decision process any easier. There is Kirala, where you can get anything from sushi to udon. Soop that specializes in hearty soups and bahn mi that feature Mexican flavors. Save room for dessert because Lush Gelato is not to be missed. Take your food out back to the hidden courtyard that boasts a tranquil zen garden and multi-level platforms. There is also the Imperial Tea Garden, a separate restaurant that serves doughy handmade noodles in various dishes.

The Epicurious Garden food court has several affordable restaurants, but the real reason to go there is Lush Gelato at the back. This is where to get desert after a meal at the Cheese Board.
