Tips from locals
The Gurkhas were Nepalese fighters brought into the British Army in 1816 (about the time of Waterloo) because they impressed the East India Company, Britain's master of India. They were highly respected within the British Army (and especially by their opponents!) and this museum is a fine tribute.
