Historic Napoleon house was first occupied by the mayor of New orleans from 1812-1815 then offered to Napoleon for his home to live in exile (he never made it here). Go order a pimms cup here. This is also a restaurant but we usually just stop in the bar for a drink. Cool atmosphere

Muffalettas, po' boys & other Creole staples in a circa-1914 house with a palm-filled courtyard.

We don't love eating in the French quarter in general. The upscale and pricy restaurants are great, but anything cheaper tends not to be very good. This Resturant is an exception, well priced, decent food. It has a great history to it (was originally meant for Napoleon), cute patio.
