Enjoy the view that will leave you breathless, take a look at the permanent museum exhibition and visit the café bar. If you come in the summer, here you can enjoy the evening concerts, theatre performances or outdoor fashion shows.

“This is the Croatian National Theater, for those wanting to have some classical cultural experience. There domestic and guest operas, dramas and ballet there. Near the theater, there is the biggest Rijeka market - the Brajda market, where you can buy fresh vegetables, fruit, fish and meat, as well as other local goodies, flowers and clothes. It is lively and vibrant. Just be sure to arrive before 13/14 o´clock, because that is when some stands are closing, or have less good goodies. Everything gets taken :D It is nice to go early in the morning, buy groceries, have coffee somewhere near the theater, and admire the beautiful palaces and old buildings across the street. Or just turn to the other side, and sip you coffee looking at the sea. ”
