Sandy Beach on Lake Michigan. Very cold. Great for wading on a hot summer day. Great for young children to play in the sand. Not advisable for swimming for young children or less than strong swimmers. The Sheboygan Breakwater Lighthouse stands tall at the end of North Pier. She’s a classic breakwater lighthouse. You can’t go inside of it. People don’t come from miles to see it, but it’s a favorite pastime of our city to take a walk out to it on a beautiful day, take in Lake Michigan, and view the Sheboygan skyline. It is only safe to walk out on the pier when the lake is calm. Beware of high waves - they are powerful and they will push you off onto the rocks below and into the lake

Sheboygan is the surfing capital of the Midwest so time it right and you'll see some surfers and kite boarders. Bring the skimmer board and hit the surf. Sandy beach with view and waves that make you feel like you're at the ocean. Grab some beach towels, sand blanket, buckets and sandals from the garage and head to the beach. We love walking out to the light house and along the beach.

This is Sheboygan's North Beach you may see a surfer here from time to time but the biggest draw is a great walk,run and Bike path here along the whole beachfront to get some exercise. Public bathrooms, changing rooms, beach volleyball courts, a playground for the kids and an endless stretch of gorgeous beach front to enjoy!
