Opening hours: 7.00-17.00 Wat Suan Dok was founded in 1370 by monk from Sukhothai Kingdom. He found 2 pieces of Buddha relic nearby the location. The 1st relic was reserved at the main golden pagoda at Wat Suan Dok. The 2nd relic was at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. The golden pagoda is 48 meters tall…

Wat Suan Dok is the old temple and important in the past of Chiangmai. The located just West of the old walled part of Chiang Mai city is a very old temple known for its large number of white chedis or pagodas.
