Off the beaten path near the Presidio of Monterey, this neighborhood tavern offers a decent selection of beers and has delicious burgers. It's kinda divey but the staff are friendly and welcoming.

This is a hole in the wall bar, close to the Presidio, so it has a large military influence. And what it also has is one of the best burgers in town! Drink prices are pretty reasonable as well. And on Tuesday they are buy one get one free!

Walk up the hill one big block to join the guys and gals from the Defense Learning Institute (DLI) at the nearest neighborhood bar and small family restaurant.
