Why locals recommend it

Tours of Parliament only happen when Parliament isn’t sitting, but there’s no other easy way for a proper look around the country’s most interesting building, which I’m lucky to call my office. Not many other functioning democracies have a Queen’s Robing Room. In my opinion, ours shouldn’t either, but it’s certainly worth a look. Get in quick. The place is falling down. We’re not quite sure exactly when, but soon, probably around 2022, the entire place is probably going to shut for at least six years for a massive restoration job that is going to cost £6 billion or more.

Best sight in London! Perhaps. You can walk in about 40 minutes, or hop on the 88 bus towards Camden Town.
