About this place
A favourite address of all lovers of great French food who appreciate its family spirit and warm and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant Benoit which opened in 1912, remains one of the last authentic Parisians bistros. Benoit Matray creates the restaurant in 1912. Its customers come from the neighbourhood and are the retailers and artists from the Halles. Achieving great success, the owner decided to expand and buy the two adjacent businesses: two hair salons. In memory of that time, the Bistrot Benoit wanted to pay homage to them, calling one of the private rooms the "Salon Hair Flash"!

Tips from locals
An over 100 year restaurant belonging to Alain Ducasse brasseries. Although very traditional, the food is very refined & delicious. Nice service & atmosphere. Still a bit expensive but excellent food.
If you have a picture in your head of a golden age of Parisian dining, it probably looks something like Benoit. Though the outside of the restaurant is fairly plain, it has a plum position just moments from the imposing Hôtel de Ville, and is set on the border of the Marais, today a humming area…
