Lesser known by the local and tourist, one of my personal favorite spot on the island. Azur sea and white sandy beach. Smaller than the other more famous beaches, but it is also less busy. Very quiet beach.

Nice public beach. Nice beach, ok water visibility, nice sand, black rocks, food stands, fruit stands, beverages above the beach.... overcrowded in weekends.

Located in the North West part of Mauritius near the town of Grand Baie , La Cuvette Beach is a hidden gem in Mauritius and is only known to locals and a few tourists. Also known as Royal Palm Beach or La Mauricia Beach (owing to its proximity to these two resorts), the La Cuvette Beach is popular for the tranquillity it offers. There are many spots at the La Cuvette Beach where one can simply relax behind the many rocks and cliffs or soak in the natural beauty of the place. The beach also has a grassy patch where one can play football or just take a leisurely stroll while the sea breeze plays with your hair. Apart from this, the La Cuvette Beach also has ample parking space, shacks which serve delicious local snacks, changing rooms and shower facilities as well.
