Pian Cavallone is one of the best known destinations in the area, famous not only for its splendid view, but also for the now traditional "chestnut" that usually takes place in the first half of October. How to get there? To reach Pian Cavallone there are several paths that start from different points of the territory. When we go to Pian Cavallone we usually choose the following path. From Verbania follow the signs first for Cambiasca and then for Miazzina. From Miazzina continue to the Cappella Fina area where you can park your car. How to get there? From Verbania follow the same indications to reach Pian Cavallone. The first part of the path is the same as that of Pian Cavallone. Once you reach the second chapel, take the path on the left, towards Pizzo Pernice.
