Only restored historic covered bridge still open to vehicles to drive through! It's one lane with raised 'tire lines' to drive on top of. There's a little parking area on the east side. About 35 minutes drive, just south of Mount Jackson (known for its autumn apples and festival). Travel west on Rt. 720 to cross under I-81, then south to the Route 11 Potato Chips factory, then just a bit further south to the Shenandoah Caverns.

One of the few remaining covered bridges in Virginia. Great spot for picnic, and close to Route 11 Potato Chip factory.
