great mountain village !! we love the shops and places to eat. Can also walk from this beautiful village.
Take a bus up to Capileira then walk down to the lower village, Pampaniera. Each village is special in it's own way. They all have great restaurants and cafes. I enjoy having a coffee on one of the rooftop cafes.
Capileira is the highest and most northerly of the three villages in the gorge of the Poqueira river in the La Alpujarra district of the province of Granada, in Spain
It's a wonderfully picturesque Spanish village set into the mountain and steeped in authentic Spanish culture as well as a bit of tourism thrown in, obvs.
La Alpujarra de Granada are a lot of typical white towns. A must see for a long stay.
