Great Zoo which is completely free. Animals are situated in large areas on the hills so it looks more like national park. You have some rare species like syrian bears etc. Many people go there for jogging as well.

Grand zoo ambiance garrigue et en plus gratuit ! Prendre un chapeau en été (pas beaucoup d'ombre). Accessible en tram (ligne 1 jusque Saint-Eloi) + bus (La Navette). ----- Large zoo in the middle of the garrigue. Don't forget your hat int he summer. Accessible by tram (line 1 to St Eloi and then bus "la navette"). Entrance is free. There's a coffee/restaurant to have lunch.

One of the rare free zoos in Europe! It is a major attraction of the city. It also contains a tropical greenhouse, the entrance costs 3 to 6 euros, which I strongly recommend!! open on Sunday!
