During the summer season, the beach has life-guards on duty, as well as restrooms and outdoor shower. A beach wheelchair is available for disabled patrons. This popular swimming and relaxing spot is located on the shores of Peconic Bay and contains 400 feet of white sandy beaches. In addition, there are other park buildings, including the Community Room (which is rented for residential use), parking areas, bocce court, shuffleboard, and horseshoe pitch. During the summer season (from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend), beach entrance requires a beach permit.
